I am currently the General Manager and Senior Surgeon at Municipal Hospital Câmpina (website) and President of Medis Foundation (website).

I am an active member of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES), Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons of America (SLS) and the Founder Member of the former European Association of Study of Acute Abdominal Pain.

I am proud to be part of the Society for Medical Innovation and Technology Steering Committee since 2005 and its President in 2009, an Expert Trainer in Laparoscopic Surgery at Ponderas Hospital since 2010, the Chair of International Relations Committee of Romanian Society for Endoscopic Surgery (2011-2013), the Treasurer of Romanian Society for Endoscopic Surgery since 2013 and, starting 2014, a Member of the Technology Committee of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery.
